The tuning garage CarTec in Ulm, Germany, joins the TurboPerformance® network together with its existing dealerships.

Formation of TurboPerformance® GmbH & Co KG and registration as a trademark (®).

Relocation and merging of the establishment with the departments for research and development, production and management into the industrial park of Nittendorf-Pollenried, near Regensburg Concentrated know-how, competence and experience to set new benchmarks with innovative technologies

Expansion of the distribution network with more than 20 partners in South America

The corporation grows by and by thus requiring the addition of marketing and distribution department to support the growing number of dealerships and customers with information and marketing activities.

The engine management in modern vehicles is controlled by the software installed on the engine’s electronic control unit (ECU).
The software-related engine optimization maxes out the tolerance level of the engine electronics – commonly known as remapping.
Manufacturers intentionally retain a certain tolerance in order to adapt their model to country-specific regulations – e.g. related to fuel, emissions and insurance classes. Some engines’ performance is even purposely restricted in order to legitimize the vehicle’s price level compared to the next higher class.
